How can we help you today?
Search 25 articles across five topics, or ask the AI assistant.
Getting Started
5 articles- 1Open the Sign in page and switch to the Create account tab.
- 2Enter your name, email and a password of at least 8 characters.
- 3Confirm your email if a confirmation message arrives in your inbox.
- 4You are redirected to the dashboard with your Free plan credits ready to use.
Every new account starts on the Free plan with 10 AI credits and one project slot. Your profile, credits and projects are tied to your login, so sign in on any device to pick up where you left off.
- 1Open Builder from the sidebar.
- 2Fill in business name, category and a short description of what the business does.
- 3Pick a style, colour and font, then choose your image and animation options.
- 4Click Generate Website and wait for the preview to load.
- 5Review the live preview, then refine, export or publish.
The generator writes copy, chooses layouts and builds Home, About, Services, Gallery, Reviews, FAQ and Contact sections. The more specific your description — services offered, tone, location, audience — the sharper the result.
- 1Check the top stat cards for websites created, credits remaining and AI generations.
- 2Use Recent projects to jump straight back into a build.
- 3Watch Publishing & domains for live sites and connected domains.
- 4Use Quick actions to start a build, find leads or upgrade.
The dashboard is a live summary of your account: usage, subscription, recent activity and lead performance. Numbers refresh automatically as you generate, publish and convert leads.
- 1Left panel: business details and design controls.
- 2Centre: the live interactive preview of the generated site.
- 3Refine box: type change requests in plain English.
- 4Top actions: Regenerate, Export and Publish.
The preview is a real sandboxed website, not a screenshot — buttons, navigation, mobile menu, animations and forms all behave exactly as they will once exported or published.
- 1Generated sites are saved to your project list automatically.
- 2Rename a project to keep client work organised.
- 3Duplicate a project to try a different direction without losing the original.
- 4Delete removes the project; published sites should be unpublished first.
Project slots depend on your plan: Free includes 1 project, Standard 10, and Pro and Business are unlimited.
Website Builder
7 articles- 1Pick the closest matching category in the Builder form.
- 2Use the description field for anything the category does not cover.
- 3Regenerate if a different category would suit the business better.
Some categories carry dedicated design briefs. Barbershop, for example, produces a premium dark layout with black, grey and gold accents, a pricing block, a staff section and a cuts gallery — noticeably different from a restaurant or clinic build.
- 1Complete the form and press Generate Website.
- 2Credits are deducted per generation from your balance.
- 3Generation stops if your balance reaches zero — top up or upgrade.
Each build produces structured site content plus SEO title, meta description and structured data. If a generation fails, credits for that attempt are not consumed twice — just try again.
- 1Open the editor panel next to the preview.
- 2Select the section you want to change.
- 3Edit text fields directly — the preview updates as you type.
Manual edits and AI refinements work together: edit by hand for precision, use the AI refine box for bigger structural changes.
- 1Use the colour picker to set the brand accent.
- 2Choose a font pairing from the font selector.
- 3Switch between light and dark website themes.
- 4Toggle animations on or off for the exported site.
You can also ask the AI directly: "make it warmer and more premium" or "use a serif heading font" and the existing site is restyled rather than rebuilt.
- 1Toggle Images on or off in the builder options.
- 2Choose AI images or stock images as the source.
- 3Regenerate to refresh the gallery selection.
Turning images off produces a fast, typography-led site — a good option for service businesses without their own photography yet.
- 1Click Export Website in the builder.
- 2The file downloads as a ready-to-host page.
- 3Upload it to any static host or hand it to your client.
Exports include SEO metadata, JSON-LD structured data, animations and a working contact form wired to your notification email.
- 1Open Domains and find your project.
- 2Click Publish to create a live URL.
- 3Copy the URL, preview it, or unpublish at any time.
Published sites are served instantly and stay in sync with the version you published. Republish after making changes.
Account & Billing
5 articles- 1Open Settings from the sidebar.
- 2Edit your profile details and save.
- 3Use the security section to change your password.
Your profile email is the default recipient for website contact form notifications until you set a dedicated notification address under email automation.
- 1Free: 10 AI credits and 1 project.
- 2Standard: 250 credits a month and 10 projects.
- 3Pro: 1,000 credits a month and unlimited projects.
- 4Business: unlimited credits, unlimited websites and team access.
Switch between monthly and yearly billing on the Pricing page. Yearly billing is charged up front and reduces the effective monthly cost.
- 1Credits are used for website generation and AI refinements.
- 2Your remaining balance shows in the sidebar and dashboard.
- 3Paid plans refresh credits at the start of each billing period.
If you run out mid-project, generation is disabled until you top up or upgrade. Credit history is available in Finance so you can see exactly where usage went.
- 1Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
- 2Invoices and payment history appear in Settings and Finance.
- 3Statuses shown are paid, pending, failed or refunded.
A failed payment does not delete your projects. Update your card and the subscription retries automatically.
- 1Open Pricing and choose your plan.
- 2Complete Stripe checkout.
- 3Your plan and credits update as soon as payment confirms.
Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, so you keep what you paid for.
Domains
4 articles- 1Publish the website first.
- 2Open Domains and click Connect a custom domain.
- 3Enter the domain name you own.
- 4Add the DNS records shown, then verify.
You keep ownership of the domain at your registrar — SiteForge only needs the DNS records to route traffic and issue a certificate.
- 1Publish creates a live URL for the project.
- 2Preview opens the live site in a new tab.
- 3Unpublish takes it offline without deleting the project.
Statuses shown across the Domains page are connected, pending setup, SSL active and error.
- 1Step 1 — enter your domain name.
- 2Step 2 — add the CNAME and A records at your registrar.
- 3Step 3 — verify the connection.
- 4Step 4 — SSL is issued automatically.
- 5Step 5 — the domain goes live.
DNS changes can take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours to propagate worldwide. Verification can be re-run as often as you like.
- 1Confirm the records match exactly, with no trailing dots or typos.
- 2Remove conflicting A or CNAME records for the same host.
- 3Disable proxying at your DNS provider during verification.
- 4Wait for propagation, then re-run verification.
If the status stays in error for more than 48 hours, send us the domain name through the Contact Support form and we will inspect the records for you.
AI Features
4 articles- 1Your inputs become a creative brief for the model.
- 2The model returns structured content for every section.
- 3The builder renders that content into a real, interactive site.
Because the output is structured rather than raw HTML, you can restyle, reorder and refine a site without regenerating the copy from scratch.
- 1Name the exact services and price positioning.
- 2Describe the customer you want to attract.
- 3State the tone: premium, friendly, clinical, bold.
- 4Mention must-have sections or claims.
Avoid one-line briefs like "a barbershop website". Compare that to "an appointment-only barbershop for professionals, premium dark branding, skin fades and hot towel shaves, walk-ins on Sundays" — the second gets a far stronger result.
- 1Regenerate for a completely fresh direction.
- 2Refine when the structure is right but details are wrong.
- 3Duplicate the project first if you want to keep both versions.
Regeneration replaces the current content and consumes credits, so duplicate anything you might want back.
- 1Open the refine box under the preview.
- 2Type a request such as "add a pricing section" or "remove the gallery".
- 3Review the updated preview and keep refining.
Refinements update the existing website rather than creating a new one, so your approved sections stay intact.
